Kanno Koi Farm is a respected koi breeding operation located in Yamakoshi, Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. It was established in the early 1970s by Hiroshi Hirasawa, and is now co-operated with his son, Kazuhiro Hirasawa.

Specialization
Kanno Koi Farm is especially renowned for its Goshiki, often referred to as the “King of Goshiki.” Their breeding focuses on producing strong blue mesh patterns with elegant sumi and vibrant hi (red) markings, reflecting the Japanese aesthetic of wabi‑sabi. In addition to Goshiki, they also breed high-quality Sanke, Showa, Kohaku, and Kikusui, with many lines tracing back to the prestigious Matsunosuke bloodline.
