Takahiro & Takayoshi Omosako 

Omosako Koi Farm (officially Omosako Koi Farm Co., Ltd.) is a renowned Japanese koi breeder based in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Founded in the early 1950s by Ryuzo Omosako, it is now managed by his sons Takayoshi and Takahiro Omosako.

Specialization

Omosako Koi Farm is best known for its Shiro Utsuri — black and white patterned koi distinguished by striking sumi on a pristine white background. The farm is recognized globally as the leading producer of Jumbo Shiro Utsuri, having earned the Grand Prize in the Utsurimono class at the All Japan Nishikigoi Shows for over a decade.

In addition to Shiro Utsuri, they also breed high-quality Kujaku and Showa, along with occasional Tancho Utsuri and Tancho Kujaku, all following the farm’s high standards for skin quality and contrast.
